August 2016: OriGen Biomedical Ranks in 2016 Inc. 5000 for its Sixth Consecutive Year 

Austin, TX- August 24, 2016 -   Inc. Magazine has once again named OriGen Biomedical to its Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing privately-owned companies in America for 2016, with a rank of 4616.  This will mark the 6th time OriGen has been honored with making the list, placing it with only a tiny fraction of the nation’s companies which have demonstrated consistent growth.   Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles can be found at the 2016 Inc. 5000 list

 

August 2015: OriGen Biomedical Ranks in 2015 Inc. 5000 for its Fifth Consecutive Year

Austin, TX - August 10, 2015 - Inc. Magazine named OriGen Biomedical to its 2015 list of the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in America with a rank of #4142. Now a five-time honoree, OriGen has earned the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll designation, an accomplishment only achieved by 908 companies since the list’s inception in 1982. October 2014: Fortune Magazine and the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) ranked OriGen #37 in the 2014 ICIC 100 and #3 in the Healthcare & Biotechnology industry rankings. This is a list of 100 fastest-growing inner city businesses in the US.

September 2014: Inc. Magazine ranked OriGen # 2897 in the 2014 Inc. 500/5000The list, started in 1982, ranks the most successful private companies in the United States; this is OriGen's 4th year on the Inc 500/5000. 

October 25, 2013: Texas A&M University "Aggie 100" OriGen ranked #97.  The Aggie 100 identifies, recognizes and celebrates the fastest growing Aggie owned or Aggie-led businesses in the world. August 20 2013: Inc. Magazine ranked OriGen #1713 in its annual 2013 Inc. 500/5000 list . This ranks the United States fastest-growing private companies. 

May 2013:  OriGen named #19 in the 2013 Initiative for a Competative Inner City (ICIC). This listing ranks the 100 fastest-growing privately-held, inner city businesses in America.

 Aug 2012:  Inc. Magazine ranked OriGen #885 in its Annual 2012 Inc. 500/5000 list . This ranks the nation's fastest growing private companies. This is our second year to earn this distinction and  we have moved up from #1247 in the prior year's rankings.

July 2012:  Reinforced Dual Lumen Cannula approved by the FDA - 13F available for sale, other sizes coming soon!

July 2012: OriGen facility expands to 45,000 SF (4180 M2) - adding two additional clean rooms; one for sterile fill and one for product manufacture.

Sept 2011: OriGen named one of the 100 fastest growing Inner City companies in the US. Our ranking was #52 in the 2011 Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). Up from #90 ranking in 2010.

Inc. Magazine ranked OriGen #1247 in its Annual Inc. 500/5000 list . This ranks the nation's fastest growing private companies.

May 2010: OriGen named one of the 100 fastest growing Inner City companies in the US
BusinessWeek magazine named Origen Biomedical as the 90th fastest growing Inner City business in the US for the fiscal year ending in 2008. The official announcement will be published in the May 28 issue of Bloomberg BusinessWeek. ICIC also shot a short video on OriGen available here.

Mar 2010: OriGen moves to new Facility
Origen has relocated to a new, custom built 26,000 SF (2500 M2) production facility.

June 2009: OriGen appoints Greg Sansom as Controller
Greg Sansom has joined Origen as the Financial controller.

Greg brings 20 years of experience in financial and strategic planning working in both large and small corporations. Greg started his career in audits at Arthur Anderson is currently a CPA, and has working experience at Dell, Ambion and Harcourt Brace Publishing over the last 10 years.

Nov 2008: OriGen receives approval for PFC lavage solutions
OriGen Biomedical announced today that it has received regulatory approval for distribution of Perflubronc® Lung Lavage solutions in Europe and Canada. These perfluorocarbon solutions represent a major advance in lung lavage, owing to their clarity, biocompatibility and density.

Nov 2007: OriGen adopts HIBCC bar coding standard
The company has today announced its adoption of an inclusion in the Health Industry Bar Code Supplier Labeling Standard ANSI/HIBC 2.2. The intent is for all OriGen products made after 01 Jan 2008 to include the appropriate HIBCC bar code on the primary labeling. Where important for customer needs, we will be bar coding products in inventory before the bar coding standard went into effect.

Sept 2007: OriGen receives CE marking for DMSO cryopreservation solutions
We have recently received clearance to market our DMSO cryopreservation solutions from AMTAC, our European Notified Body. Origen has received certification for our sterile cryopreservation solutions to carry the CE mark. Formal product launch is to be at the AABB in Anaheim next October.
