Biomedical, inc. is a small, privately-held medical device
manufacturer headquartered in Austin, Texas, USA. Our engineers
have more than 25 years of experience with dozens of different
specialty medical devices for cardiac care and cell culture.
Our ECMO (ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) products
are intended for supplementary oxygen support using a custom
perfusion circuit instead of a respirator. Please see the
links at the top of the page.
We also manufacture a range of specialty bags for cell culture
and stem cell freezing in EVA, FEP and Kapton/FEP compounds.
These are extremely well-suited for tissue and cell culture,
stem cell expansion and long-term freezing. Our products
are particularly suited for liquid nitrogen cryopreservation,
and the FEP products are unsurpassed for direct immersion
into liquid nitrogen.
Our European office, Origen Biomedical Europe, handles all
OriGen products for the European Union and the Middle East.
Origen Biomedical Europe also has unique EU products for

Origen is ISO 13485 Certified, and our products have received
both marketing clearance from US-FDA, are registered
