The PCT kit contains all the items necessary to place the Origen DLC percutaneously. These components are now sold separaetly, packaged sterile for single use.

The PCTa kit contains the items necessary to place one of the 12F, 15F or 18F cathers

• A sharps kit contining
• 21 ga. needle
• 22 ga. IV catheter
• 18 ga. IV catheter
• 5F coax Introducer
• an 0.018" Guidewire in a dispenser coil
• an 0.035" Guidewire in a dispenser coil
• An 6F over-the-wire introducer (tan)
• An 8F over-the-wire introducer (blue)
• A 9F over-the-wire introducer (green)

The general outline for percutaneous placement is

• Identify IJV and place 0.018" guidewire (using 21 ga needle or 22 ga IV cath)
• Using the 5F Coax Introducer, switch the 0.018" guidewire for the 0.035" guidewire
• Place the proper colored introducer over the guidewire
• Place the catheter over the colored intorducer
