  • Distinct Chambers

Multiple chambers are filled simultaneously through the channel located at the bottom of the bag. The separation of individual 4-6ml chambers allows for multiple post thaw applications.
  • User Inspired Design

Stock tube sets may have luer-actuated needle-free injection ports to eliminate the possibility of needle-sticks during processing. The tube set has a syringe included for removal of air prior to filling the bag with any fluid and to expedite the de-bubbling process.
  • Traceability

Each chamber of the bag is printed with unique numbers for easy identification. The numbers on the chambers match those found on the tube sets making traceability assured.
  • Scalable Storage

Product freezing volume ranging from 4 – 6ml per chamber. Consider scalable storage of your cellular products, samples, or cryovials in cassettes.

Product Use

Will freezing bags break or fracture when impacted, dropped, etc. while frozen?

All plastics have a glass transition temperature unique to the identity and grade of polymer that makes up the plastic (it varies but is  -65C to -150C for our materials). Above this temperature, the bags are flexible. However, once the bag is cooled below its glass transition temperature, the films lose their plasticity. Any impact, pinch, cut, etc. can result in a clean fracture that radiates from the point of impact, akin to broken glass. Please see our white paper on How to Prevent Freezing Bag Breaks for more information.
