Today, communities from coast to coast are coming together for a United In Impact Day in support of patients and families affected by blood cancer. OriGen Biomedical is proud to stand alongside advocates, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and supporters as part of Light The Night, a movement dedicated to bringing hope to those impacted by blood cancers.
This year’s participation is especially meaningful for OriGen, as three employees are serving on the 2026 Austin Light The Night Leadership Committee: Kirsten Krupps, Senior Product Marketing Manager; Carissa Bishop, Regulatory Affairs Project Manager; and Julia Hall, Quality Engineer. Together, they are helping plan the event, secure sponsorships, engage local supporters, and expand community involvement throughout the Austin area. Their leadership reflects OriGen’s commitment to advancing hope for blood cancer patients and families while making a meaningful impact both within our industry and in the communities we serve.
As we come together for this United In Impact Day for Blood Cancer United, we encourage employees, friends, and family members to support the cause by registering to attend the event or even starting your own team. Whether you choose to donate, participate in the walk, or simply help spread awareness, your support contributes to a mission that closely aligns with our own: bringing hope to patients and helping advance a future where more people have access to life-saving therapies.
OriGen’s vision is to be the supplier of choice for single-use disposables within cell and gene therapy and to support transformational therapies across the world. Every day, our teams work to provide products and solutions that help enable cell and gene therapies for patients facing serious diseases. While much of that work happens behind the scenes, Light The Night provides an opportunity to connect those efforts directly to the people who benefit from them.
Behind every therapy is a patient. Behind every product is a family hoping for more time together, more milestones, and more memories. Events like Light The Night remind us that our work extends far beyond manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, and customer support—it contributes to a larger ecosystem focused on improving and saving lives.
Many OriGen employees had the opportunity to experience that connection firsthand when patient advocate and the 2026 Austin Adult Honored Hero, Ashley Evangelista, visited our team last year to share her story. Ashley received CAR T-cell therapy in 2022 and spoke about the profound impact treatment had on her life. Her journey, and the journeys of countless others, serve as a powerful reminder of why innovation in advanced therapies matters.
Today, as we join communities across the country in support of the blood cancer community, we are reminded that progress is driven by collaboration. Researchers, healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, advocacy organizations, and industry partners all play a role in advancing treatments and improving outcomes.
OriGen is proud to participate in Light The Night once again and support its mission of funding life-saving research, providing patient and family support services, and advocating for access to quality care.
As we unite today for this United In Impact Day, we celebrate the strength of survivors, honor those still fighting, remember loved ones lost, and reaffirm our commitment to helping make life-changing therapies possible.
Together, we support. Together, we advocate. Together, we shine a light on hope.
